Admissions Guide
Spring 2026 Integrated Master’s–PhD Program
- During the document evaluation, courses taken, GPA, and the statement of purpose are comprehensively reviewed. Therefore, the statement of purpose must be prepared thoroughly.
- Selection Process: Document Screening + Interview
- Document Screening: Comprehensive evaluation of courses taken, GPA, statement of purpose, etc.
- Interview: Evaluation of major suitability, research potential, and character; applications are accepted only for the integrated Master’s–PhD program, but depending on the evaluation results, some applicants may be admitted to the Master’s program if requested by the applicant or deemed necessary by the department.
Spring 2026 PhD Program
- Applicants who have obtained or are expected to obtain a Master’s degree may apply for the PhD program.
- In this case, applicants must obtain prior approval from their prospective academic advisor through consultation before submitting the application.
- The interview includes in-depth questions to assess the qualifications required for PhD-level students.
